Our Hotel Girasol is located near the 4 Golf Clubs of the east of Mallorca, namely: Pula Golf Resorts, Son Servera Golf Club, Canyamel Golf and Capdepera Golf. We also recommend Alcanada Golf, in the Bay of Alcudia.
Pula Golf
Pula Golf, founded in 1995 and redesigned by José María Olazábal between 2004 and 2006, has been transformed into a long and demanding course, designed to meet the demands of international and professional golf.
On 14 of its 18 holes you can see the green from the tee, and on the remaining 4, from the 2nd shot. Par 72 of 6,246 m, 70 for professionals. It has a large Driving-Range with two levels, one of them covered, 2 Putting-Greens and a Pitching Green.
Son Servera Golf
Son Servera is, in general terms, an easy golf course, on undulating terrain, with wide fairways and roughs that allow you to find the balls. It is surrounded by oaks, pines, olive trees, carob trees, palm trees and some of them are on the way to the green.
Holes 3 through 7 wind through a lake and hillocks, representing the biggest challenge of the course. From different areas you can see wonderful views of the mountains and the bay of Cala Millor.
Canyamel
The golf course of Canyamel has 18 holes with par 73, along 6,196 meters, and is one of the most picturesque of the island. It was created by the architect José Gancedo in 1988, respecting the natural environment and its orography to the maximum.
It has several particular features: Two holes of greater difficulty, the 9th, par 4, with a small stone cabin that makes it difficult to make its 384 meters in 4 strokes, and the 2nd hole, also par 4, with a long distance and undulation. It is also worth mentioning hole 4, which has views of the sea, and hole 18, with a triple "piano" undulation, which can be seen from the clubhouse.
Capdepera Golf
Capdepera Golf was designed by famous US golf architect Dan Maples. It comprises a mix of easier holes in the valley where an old almond plantation used to be and more challenging holes that go up into the beautiful hills of the Mallorquin Llevant mountains.
The hole 15 has breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and the coast, and the golf club offers a well stocked golf shop, a great golf school with fabulous multilingual teachers as well as a big driving range and practice area.
Alcanada Golf
Alcanada golf is located in the north of Mallorca, in the bay of Alcudia. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones, and opened in 2003. Virtually all of its 18 holes provide spectacular views of the sea and the lighthouse, allowing you to enjoy every swing to the fullest. It is also surrounded by relaxing pine and olive groves, and has a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious local and international cuisine.
